Educational Philosophy

The educational philosophy of Calvary Chapel Christian School is intricately related to that of Calvary Chapel Tucson. Therefore, any discussion of educational ends must first be assessed in light of Calvary Chapel Tucson’s ministry and Biblical distinctives. 
 
CCCS is dedicated to the spiritual, academic, physical, and social development of the children it serves.
 
CCCS aims to create a learning environment that is challenging, supportive, and dedicated to foster heart, soul, and mind growth within each individual (Matthew 22:37).
 
In all its endeavors, CCCS seeks to
  • Deepen the child’s understanding of the Christian faith and relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Discover and encourage the gifts each child possess
  • Inspire each child to realize his or her full potential in serving the Lord to the betterment of our community and the world
Simply put, we want our students to be like Jesus.
