WENDELL SCOTT
Maintenance
Wendell got saved in 1979 at the age of 17. He
started attending Grace Chapel when his older
brother and sister-in-law moved to Tucson from
Atlanta and invited him to attend church with
them. It didn't take long for him to realize
that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was all
that he had been searching for.
Unfortunately, with the world's pull and a lack
of being grounded, he backslid a couple years
later. After a failed marriage and a lot of
destructive mistakes, he asked for the Lord's
forgiveness and for help getting his life back
on track.
A short time later, a close friend invited him
to attend service at Calvary Tucson where every
time he attended service, he felt as if the Lord
was speaking directly to him through Pastor
Robert's teachings. He knew he was home and has
been attending Calvary Tucson since 2000.
Wendell has worked in the construction field for
15 years where he as done various jobs ranging
from landscaping to Job Superintendent for a
custom home builder to owning a small remodeling
business.
