Kelly is happiest serving in the “behind the scenes” ministries. She has been running sound on the west campus since October 2002, worked with the Practical Christian Living radio program for a couple years, and also works on the church's website.

Kelly was born in Tucson and started attending church at a young age, thanks to her next door “adopted” grandparents who took her every week. She became a Christian as a young child, but after high school, she fell away from the church and the Lord for many years. Thankfully, the Lord kept His hand upon her and kept calling her back.

Shortly after getting married, her husband wanted them to go back to church. She recommitted her life to the Lord in 1999 and vowed never to stray like that again.

Prior to attending Calvary Tucson, she was involved in several local missions activities and was blessed to be able to take a short-term, life-changing trip to Saint Helene, Honduras. She also played guitar on a worship team for a short while—a wild prayer answered. In fact, all the areas she’s been involved in—sound, worship, missions, radio, web development—are proof that the Lord gives us the desires of our heart and will use us if we’ll let Him.

Kelly was married nearly nine years until her husband passed away in March, 2007.
