AARON HINDS
Sunday School Pastor

Aaron was 12 years old when he received Christ at Carmichael Bible Church, in California. At the age of 18, the Lord convicted him to surrender his life to God. In 1994, Aaron and his family moved to Tucson and started attending Calvary Tucson.

His mom and dad are both deaf. During one of the services, the sign language interpreter was unable to attend. Aaron was the only one around who could interpret for his parents. He interpreted the services for the deaf for several years.
Aaron met his beautiful wife, Janell, while attending a college Bible study at Calvary Tucson. They have been married for 9 years and have two boys, Joshua and Caleb.

In 1999, Aaron became one of the full-time youth pastors at Calvary. He served in the youth ministry until 2000, when he felt the Lord calling him and his family to Sacramento, CA to start a church for the deaf.

After living in Sacramento for two and a half years, the Lord began to stir his heart to move back to Tucson. It was a humbling experience. After moving back to Tucson, Aaron worked for Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind as an Educational Interpreter.

Aaron is an assistant pastor at Calvary Tucson.
