JONATHAN
ALAMEDA
Assistant Pastor
Jonathan Alameda joined the staff at Calvary
Tucson in May, 2003.
He was born and raised in Tucson. He grew up in
a very traditional Catholic home and attended
private Catholic schools. He
received Jesus Christ at the age of twelve but
did not start living for the Lord until the age
of sixteen. At that age Jonathan was discipled
by his uncle, and over the next few years the
Lord used his circumstances to bring him into a
deeper walk with Christ. The Lord gave him a
desire to work with the youth and he became a
youth leader in high school. But it was not
until a few years later that he would feel the
call to ministry.
After graduating from Tucson High School,
Jonathan pursued a career in Emergency Medical
Services (EMS). He attended college and became
certified as an EMT and worked with the local
fire department as a firefighter/EMT. Along with
working with the youth group, he currently works
in the medical field, specifically in the field
of cardiology, with Tucson Heart Group and also
attends college.
Jonathan works alongside our Youth Pastor,
Peter LaJoy. Jonathan has a heart to reach the youth in our city with the saving
message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
